SSMG Awards 2027 - Call for Abstracts

The Scientific Committee of the SSMG cordially invites all colleagues to submit an abstract presenting their ongoing work.

Award categories
Each abstract has to be submitted to one of two categories: Basic Research or Clinical/Diagnostic Research. In each category, two prizes are awarded:

• Presentation Prize (CHF 500): young investigators only
• Poster Prize (CHF 300): open to all

Young investigators

Colleagues who are not yet clinical consultants or laboratory directors may indicate upon submission that they wish to compete for the Presentation Prize. At least two young investigators per category will be selected to present their work. Selected presenters are not eligible for the Poster Prize. All other young investigator abstracts automatically compete for the Poster Prize in their category.

Submission guidelines

• One abstract per person
• Body text max. 2,500 characters (including spaces)
• Topics welcome include Mendelian Phenotypes, Complex Traits and Disorders, Omics Technologies, Bioinformatics, Functional Genomics, Prenatal and Perinatal Genetics, Developmental Genetics, Genetic Counseling, Ethical/Legal/Social Issues and Education.
  
  

All posters and presentations are judged by the Scientific Committee.

• Nicht-Mitglieder: 1'000.- CHF

Anmeldefrist
Für die Facharztprüfung 2026 ist die Anmeldefrist abgelaufen. Die Anmeldung für 2027 wird zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt publiziert.

Informationen
Das Bestehen der Facharztprüfung ist Voraussetzung für den Erwerb des Facharzttitels für Medizinische Genetik (allfällig anwendbare Übergangsbestimmungen und Ausnahmen: Artikel «Facharztprüfung – was gilt?»).

Zulassung zur Facharztprüfung

Zulassungsbedingungen
Es sind ausschliesslich Ärztinnen und Ärzte mit einem eidgenössischen oder vom BAG anerkannten ausländischen Arztdiplom zur Facharztprüfung zugelassen (Art. 23 WBO). Die Übergangsbestimmungen sind in Art. 69 Abs. 3 der WBO festgehalten.
